All textbooks and resources are included in the program fee and are embedded directly in the courses meaning students can seamlessly access and download textbook readings on their mobile devices or computer. Students are evaluated through multiple-choice questions, reflection questions and a final capstone case-study assignment. Evaluations are designed not only to assess the student's knowledge but also promote research. This course is perfect for the skilled health and wellness professional as continuing education credits or professional development. Students will gain a foundational knowledge and feel confident expanding their knowledge in this field through further education.
Students may complete this course in as little as 5 months however you will have access to the course for one year.
Students receive formative (knowledge check points) and cumulative (final exams) evaluations in each course. Evaluations are based on the content provided in videos, interviews, research papers and required readings. Content is competency-based meaning each course addresses specific competencies necessary for the student to master. Instruction is provided using a range of resources and much of the content is reviewed or taught by healthcare experts in their respective fields for specific courses.
