  • Who is this course for?

    This course is perfect for the skilled health and wellness professional as continuing education credits or professional development. Students will gain a foundational knowledge and feel confident expanding their knowledge in this field through further education. This is a great course as part of a clinical orientation program or continuing education credits. This course is designed for professionals who have at taken at minimum basic anatomy & physiology courses. Note: This course is a required course in the Certificate in Community Paramedicine Care program.

  • How long does it take to complete this course?

    Students may complete this course in as little as one month however you will have access to the course for one year.

  • How do I know I will be competent in the content after this course?

    Students receive formative (knowledge check points) and cumulative (final exams) evaluations in each course. Evaluations are based on the content provided in videos, interviews, research papers and required readings. Content is competency-based meaning each course addresses specific competencies necessary for the student to master. Instruction is provided using a range of resources and much of the content is reviewed or taught by healthcare experts in their respective fields for specific courses. We always recommend implementing a continuing education and review routine for yourself to ensure knowledge retention, patient safety and clinical competence and confidence.

    There are no prerequisites for this program however prior health & wellness education is recommended in order to get the most out of this course.
