FAQ
-
How long does it take to complete this certificate program?
This program is self-paced and is designed to be completed over 6 weeks. For teams taking this program together, we recommend one module per week with the use of team discussion guides at weekly team meetings.
-
Once I complete this certificate, are there other programs that build on these topics?
Yes! Have a look at our course offerings for more learning opportunities. We recommend or Micro-cert in Prehospital Preceptorship or Presentation Skills for Leaders and Educators courses.
-
Why should I invest in this course for myself or my staff?
Many leaders come into their roles by having a solid amount of experience in their field but not always a foundation in leadership education. This program provides research and case-based courses that will help leaders strengthen their skills in effective and engaged leadership. The Micro-Cert in Engaged Leadership is an excellent highlight to your resume and a comprehensive addition to your organizations leadership orientation program.
-
I am planning to register a group of our staff, are there any multi-student pricing options?
There sure are! We offer individual and group pricing for this course. See the registration link for details.
-
I want to take this course but I have a busy schedule, do I have to attend live classes?
Leaders are BUSY! We created this program as an opportunity for leaders to broaden their education without the need to take days out of the office to attend a live training. While live training is an amazing way to learn, we chose to make this program asynchronous in order to prioritize accessibility for individuals and organizations. People tend to learn best when they feel they have time to engage in their educations and adding the commitment of live or in-person sessions doesn’t always fit into busy schedules. This program is self-paced with the opportunity to network with other leaders who are working through the course a the same time.
-
I really want to add this course to my resume! What are my options for payment?
Individuals can register for the course independently (ask us about our professional association discount!). Group registration can receive group rates for 4+ students.
