    Students are evaluated through multiple-choice questions, reflection questions and a final capstone case-study assignment. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of this course which may be used in your continuing education portfolio for your regulatory body.

    Courses are designed as micro-learning experiences allowing students to easily work through each module in short bursts.   • Who is this course for?

    Although this course is designed for Community Paramedics, it is an excellent comprehensive course for other frontline health and wellness professionals. Students will gain a foundational knowledge and feel confident expanding their knowledge in this field through further education. This course is a great addition to a staff orientation or continuing education program. Note: This course is a required course in the Certificate in Community Paramedicine Care program.

  • How long does it take to complete this course?

    Students may complete this course in as little as one month however you will have access to the course for one year.

  • How do I know I will be competent in the content after this course?

    Students receive formative (knowledge check points) and cumulative (final exams) evaluations in each course. Evaluations are based on the content provided in videos, interviews, research papers and required readings. Content is competency-based meaning each course addresses specific competencies necessary for the student to master. Instruction is provided using a range of resources and much of the content is reviewed or taught by healthcare experts in their respective fields for specific courses. We always recommend implementing a continuing education and review routine for yourself to ensure knowledge retention, patient safety and clinical competence and confidence.

  • What are the prerequisite for this program?

    There are no prerequisites for this program however prior health & wellness education is recommended in order to get the most out of this course.
